The HabITec Team
Joe-Anne is a senior graphic designer with a background in education, communication and marketing, research and project management.
Through her lived experience, Jo has developed a keen interest in working towards improving the lives of those with disabilities through education, inclusiveness, accessibility and advocating for equal opportunities. She is employed within The Hopkins Centre, Menzies Health Institute Queensland, Griffith University; where she works as a Community Manager of The Dignity Project, as Research Assistant for HabITec, and Digital Designer Griffith Inclusive Futures. She is also a board member of Enabled.vip.
In her spare time, Jo freelances on creative and educational projects, and has recently written the ADCET Guideline on ‘Supporting Deaf and hard of hearing learners online’. Jo brings a wealth of design, research and project management experience to HabITec and will be supporting the team with research, marketing, design, staging events and other special initiatives.
